Strawberry Cake

I made a Strawberry Cake yesterday.Heres the recipe:Beat 2 eggs and stir in 1 cup frozen sugared strawberries and 1 cup white sugar.Add to that 2 cups self-rising flour and 1 cup melted butter. Then add 1/2 cup sour cream.Pour into a loafpan dish and bake at 350 degrees until done.Check with a toothpick. My cake took 45 minutes and this made two loafpans.Add a glaze if you wish:1/2 cup brown sugar,2 tbls butter, crushed pecans.Spread onto top of cakes.Yummy!!!!

  2. Ooo, that cake sounds wonderful. Strawberries are my husbands favorite,I will have to use this recipe for him :-)

Thank you for coming by so I am able to visit your blog! As far as what kind of paint to use, I would ask the people at Hobby Lobby. I am not a professional and would hate to tell you to do something and it ruin your nativity set. They are soo precious! But I would think that an exterior base paint would work. Then you can spray a clear coat to make it last longer. That is what we did with my in-laws jayhawk signs for outside.

    Have a great week!!
